Itwas amazing how much he made her feel wanted and even cherished she did not know if this would be a one time thing but she would risk it. Being with him was amazing and once the moments were gone she rested her head on his chest and felt really close to him. Closing her eyes she began to think about everything she had seen in the past months. Now here she did not know exactly what was going to happen now, but she fell asleep cuddled up against him and holding him. Though a few hours passed and she slowly started to wake.

The sudden movement of the bed caused Daryl to awaken violently. Jumping off the bed he was prepared to fight off any walker that was trying to eat him. When his eyesight cleared he saw that it was Eden his memory quickly returned.
"Sorry, I thought you were --- never mind," he lowered his arms forgetting that he was still naked. "I still have to get used to being here and not having something dead trying to make me their lunch."

Eden had just woken up right before he jumped out of bed and watched him, she knew what was wrong and looked at him. "It's alright Daryl I did that for a good month before I stopped, you have been through a lot" She got up and placed her hand on his cheek trying to sooth him best she knew how.

He pulled her into his arms and kissed her deeply.
"Thank you for your help," he told her. "And thank you for -- well, just thank you," he smiled at her. "Now, if my memory serves me right I think you were fixing something to eat. I am beyond famished," he let her go and reached for the clothes she bought him.
"I like your taste in clothes," he grinned as he held up the blue plaid western cut shirt. "Just my style," he teased as he held the shirt up. Grabbing the other things he began to get dressed.

Eden was taken back when he grabbed her but she smiled happily and she wrapped her arms around him and returned the deep kiss. It was amazing how much she cared for someone she just met. But again with his brother, she felt like she had known him for years. She smiled even more when he thanked her, and knew what he meant she stroked his cheek and sighed. But hearing what she said she nodded, and got into her clothing and brushed her hair putting it in a pony tail. Thinking a second she knew he was really hungry.
So she went out into the Kitchen and took out some ham and eggs, the ham was cut very thick and was cooking up a few eggs. She put some toast in and thought for a second and sighed a little bit. "So Daryl something tells me it has been ages since you ate very well, though stick with me you will have plenty of warm home cooked meals. Well if you can consider this place a home, I try to keep an open mind but I doubt we will be going back to Atlanta, so while we eat maybe we can share some stories" She smiled happily.

"Stuff smells good," he complimented her. "This is my first cup of coffee since all that --- whatever it was started," he told her.
The not going back to Atlanta part was perfectly fine with him and knowing Meryl is out and about was fine with him, also. But he was concerned about his friends that he left behind, in particular Carol. Carol was the first female who seemed interested and patient enough to care about the person he was inside. At least until now.
"I still don't know how I got here, not that I'm complaining, mind you. I just wished I could will my friends here. It'd be a lot safer, I think, unless there's some wicked little man somewhere watching us with evil intentions," he halfway joked.
"COME OUT! COME OUT WHEREVER YOU ARE!" he called out looking around the apartment. "OLLY OLLY OXEN FREE!" he listened for a moment but heard nothing. "I guess not," he shrugged and laughed.

She heard what he said as she grabbed two plates and filled both, two eggs, two pieces of toast and a chunk of ham and sat it down in front of him. She could not help but laugh when he said that comment about a man, sitting back down she relaxed back a bit and crossed one leg over the other, enjoying the coffee as she sipped it and thought for a second. Looking at him she felt that she could tell him and he would not make fun. He may tease but all in good humor she thought.
"I only had your brother as my friend, but I remember this one time. Me and Meryl was on this farm and it looked perfect, there was this woman who lived with her two sons. There was a group there already enjoying themselves, but then when me and Meryl sat down to eat a good meal a man came running down and told his daughter to not eat. We all looked at this guy like he had two heads, come to find out these farmers ate people, and the meal me and Meryl were about to eat was someone from there group that was hurt by an arrow, now that is fucked up.I looked at Meryl and he looked at me and just felt the need to do something, since I am quick with my reflexes so I threw a knife wounding one of the boys and we did what we had to.
I tried to help the guy since my mom was a nurse and I thought I could help, but the guy had no legs the bastards cut off his legs and were wanting to serve them. With blood loss it scared the shit out of me really. So I did what I thought was best, and he asked me to kill him. Your brother didn't think I could do it because this was a living breathing person. But I ended his life since he asked me to. Later on we rolled with the group but unfortunately there was a couple with there son. Who was a little slow, he ended up getting bitten and before he turned. They went out to a nice little place in the forest, and I let them deal with there son alone, but then a shot came out and the guy screamed.
I went running and come to find out the woman took her own life and left her son alive, the love of a mother can break any parent. The father took care of his son but he lost two people within five minutes, it was just terrible. I was upset but in the world of the walkers you have to dull your emotions to everything. And shortly after that I got sucked here, it was about the same time me and Meryl were told that its not the bites or scratches of the zombies that turn people, no matter how you die you come back to life as a walker. But before this I use to write music an perform sometimes

Daryl listened to her story, clearly concerned to hear that his brother and her had been through such a harrowing experience. He also knew they all had been through some harrowing things.
"Ah man. That's really bad. I'm sorry you guys had to go through that. Got any ketchup?" he snickered, not really wanting the ketchup.
"How is my big brother? I haven't seen him since he got handcuffed on the roof in Atlanta."

Eden smiled and nodded, she got up grabbing the ketchup and putting it in front of him and sat back down. "Your brother saved my ass, as for how he is or was, he was doing good. Still cannot believe he had to cut his hand off damn, I respect him though for doing what he had to, to get free. I taught him how to use a shot gun and reload with one hand. Man did he get pissed when he screwed it up, but with my help I was able to heal the end of his arm. I hold a lot of respect for you two"

Daryl nodded and shrugged, as though what they had been through was not that big of a deal.
"We did what we had to do to survive. You're a good cook," he said and looked at her. "Maybe later you can show me around town. The only place I've seen so far is the bar and here. I'd like to see how big it is and what's all that's here. You know how many people are living here?" he asked Sarah as he drank his coffee.

She smiled at the cooking comment and nodded to showing him around. "Sounds good Daryl as for how many people are around. I honestly could not say, but you will find some interesting people here. This place is surrounded by the supernatural, but you dealt with Walkers I am sure that you will be fine. Since you have little old me" She grinned. "There were perks growing up the way I did, I learned to be taught and to adjust instantly to my surroundings. Hence why I never feared walkers, guess all the archery lessons I got paid off"

"I hear ya," he grinned when she mentioned the archery lessons. He didn't want to say how he learned to shoot the crossbow as it would be a downer.
Finishing his meal he asked for one more cup of coffee before getting ready to leave. "Should I bring my crossbow with us, just in case?" he asked her, still feeling heightened alert. He was uncertain of what he would find when they left her place.

Eden poured him and herself a cup of coffee and smiled a little bit, sitting down and relaxing she heard what he said. "If you want to Daryl I am fine with that. I have been here almost a year and have yet to see a walker but really no reason why being cautious is a bad thing" She got up and put on some blue jeans and army type looking books that were black and put on a T-shirt. And even took out her cross bow, and walked out with it over her shoulder and smiled at him.
"Ready to go hot stuff?" She smirked.

Waking with his crossbow slung across him he put his arm around her as he put on a pair of sunglasses and smirked at her reply.
"Let's go, Hot Mama," he chuckled as he walked out of her place and down the street. The sun felt warm on his face and the air clean. There was no stench that hung in the air when there were walkers around.
Looking around, the town looked beautiful and fairy tale perfect, almost too perfect. Still, it was far better than where he had come from. Even so, something in the back of his mind was telling him not all was well and kept him alert to anything that would be a threat.

She laughed some unable to hold back the smile on her face and was happy though she did not know how this relationship would go but only time would tell.
