Daryl looked around not believing his eyes. Even though it was a small town there were people everywhere and none of them were trying to eat his face off. In fact they all looked happy and friendly, smiling at him as though it were normal to see two people walking around with crossbows and arrows over their shoulders.
"This place is incredible," he said to Eden as he walked, his arm around her.

Eden smiled feeling his arm around her and sighed a little bit looking around and saw what Daryl saw but had seen it months ago. Smiling a bit she nodded to him stroking his cheek. "Yes this place is rather big well over twenty thousand people live here. It's bigger then it looks" She said with a kind smile and looked at him a smile always there and never fading. |

"Twenty thousand? Are you serious?" he looked wide eyed at her. "Incredible. Where did they all come from? How many people do you know?" he had a hard time comprehending that many people. Still, it was nothing compared to the population of Atlanta, Georgia. he lived in the mountains north of there but still there were loads of people there.

Eden smiled at him and saw the way he looked around and then at her. Thinking for a second looking at him she sighed a bit "Honestly just two people, you and a rather powerful witch named Maggie Fox. The population is growing all the time, so its hard to pin point how much is really here" She said looking at him with a smile. Squeezing his hand as she sighed a bit "So many people here yet I end up finding you, I guess I am lucky" She said happily. |

He smiled at her and hugged her tightly. "I'm the lucky one. If I hadn't popped in that bar I'd never met you. If I'd popped around here somewhere I'd be looking for someone to shoot an arrow into them thinking they were some kind of zombie or something. Hey, what's that?" he pointed to a Starbuck's. "What do they sell in there?"

She smiled when he squeezed her and it felt really good that they were together it made her feel really happy. Sighing softly she heard what he asked and smiled. "That is a Starbucks they sell coffee there" She said looking at him he was as curious as a child it was rather sweet. "You seem really happy bright eyed and busy tailed" She grinned. |

"Well," stopping, he pulled her close. "I slept with a beautiful woman and had a nice sleep," he grinned and, pulling her closer, covered her mouth with his in a deep kiss. She felt good in his arms. "I've never been to Starbucks before. Let's find a dark corner where we can continue making out," he teased with a grin. "Or get a drink of some kind."

Eden smiled and let out a soft chuckle and looked into his eyes, and took his hand thinking for a moment and pointed "Well there is a dark corner in the back an isolated alley" She looked at him rather curious but would do what ever he wanted since she felt a big connection with him and really started to care for him and loved everything about him really. |

"You're too special for that. You should be treated like a lady. Tell you what, after we get some coffee I'll get you some flowers and then take you home and make love to you like you should be made love to. How does that sound?" he looked at her. Eden was indeed special and he wanted to treat her special.

Eden really was testing him to see how far he would go and he impressed her and smiled showing she was pleased with him. Resting her head against his shoulder she nodded a bit and silently sighed she was happy and hoped this would last. She headed into Starbucks and looked up at everything. "Well this is it everything they have is there" She motioned up with her head. "They have the best coffee" |

To Daryl the menu was like trying to read a foreign language. "Ah, you pick something. I'll drink whatever get. And maybe something to snack on. I know -- I know, I just got through eating breakfast but I'm still a bit munchy," he grinned at her. "It's been a good while since I've had a chance to eat more than once a day, and sometimes not at all."
He knew that she knew what he was talking about. When you spend your life in survival mode too many times there was no chance to eat.

She nodded to him and placed her hand on his shoulder and looked over at the woman so she walked up and silently sighed for a moment. "I need four blue berry muffins and two French Vanilla Cappuccinos please" Seeing it cost her ten bucks she handed over the ten and smiled a bit grabbing there things she motioned for him to follow as she sat down and grinned. "Yeah I know what you mean I never went a full day without eating I guess I was just stupidly lucky. But food being slim to none, but you wont have to deal with that again Daryl because even if we were thrown back to where we were. I would be there with you, I promise" |

"I haven't since I don't know when," he laughed and took a bite of one. His eyes rolled in ecstasy at the taste. "Mmmmm! DE-licious! And that coffee. Oh man! So good! This must be heaven!"
His ravenous hunger satiated he sat back and wiped his mouth. "Sorry, I didn't mean to make a pig of myself. I'll eat the other one with more manners," he apologized.
"... but you wont have to deal with that again Daryl because even if we were thrown back to where we were. I would be there with you, I promise"
"I don't ever want to go back there," he told her and meant it. "I don't want to leave this place, ever. And I don't want to leave you. You're the best thing that's ever happened to me."

Eden watched him pretty much wolfed down the muffin and heard everything he said and smiled. Him eating like that honestly did not bother her in the least, she put the butter between them in case he wanted some and put it on her muffin cutting it in half. And began to lightly eat, but when he apologized she placed her hand on his and squeezed it. Her way of saying "It's okay" in a gesture since her mouth was full of lovely fresh and very warm muffins. But when he said what he did about her she blushed and swallowed her food.
"You are very sweet Daryl but how can you say that? You don't know me? Course I don't know you personally either but I can tell your a good guy at heart, maybe a bit rough around the edges but I like you Daryl and where ever you go I will be there with you. No matter what happens, you will have a friend in me Daryl. And I care for you deeply as well, I do not know what future we will have. Since your brother told me you were a bit of a flirt" She giggled. |

He grinned at her. "Fanks," he said with his mouth full. Swallowing he washed it down with his Cappuccino. "Sorry," he apologized. "A guy could get used to eating like this real quick. Now," he wiped his mouth off with a napkin, leaned back in his seat and crossed his legs. "What were you going to tell me?" he pulled out a cigarette and lit it. He wasn't sure how long this dream was going to last but decided to enjoy it as much as he could before he woke up. "When did you say you saw my brother?"
