Daryl blinked, unsure of what he was seeing. He had been walking in the woods, his crossbow over his shoulder one moment and the next in a very nice bar. He blinked as his eyes adjusted from the misty woods to the semi-darkness of the bar.
"What can I get for you, Sir?" the man behind the bar asked him as though this was a common site to see a grubby survivor wearing dirty, torn clothing with a crossbow hung over his shoulder. If Meryl was here he'd know what he'd do.
"Ah, give me a beer on tap," he ordered as he slipped into a bar stool. It was a very clean, nicely kept bar and he felt slightly out of place but no one seemed to notice or care.
The bartender set a mug of yellow brew with a creamy head down in front of him. "Might I take you crossbow for you?" the man asked. "You can get it back when you're ready to go."
"Nah, I'll keep it," he eyed the man suspiciously. What if walkers showed up and he had to try to find it?
"Very good, sir," the barkeep nodded with a small grin and moved away.
Daryl looked the beer mug over. It was icy and cold, just how it was supposed to be. Cautiously taking a sip he was pleasantly surprised. Ale just how it was supposed to taste. He hadn't had one in - well, he couldn't remember the last time he had one. Taking a big drink he downed half the mug, licking the creamy foam from his top lip. Damned good. The rush of alcohol immediately went to his head and he felt relaxed. Leaning back he pulled out a cigarette and lit it then blew the smoke out into the air around him.
Finishing the brew he ordered another one, not sure how he was going to pay for it and, at the moment, not really caring. His empty mug was replaced with a fresh, icy mug of tap beer. Taking a big sip he took a drag of the cigarette and sighed contently.
This was really nice.

Eden had been here long enough to know that this place was okay, first she was trying to get out of a zombie infested bull shit place and then she ended up here in Ashfield. And had no damn idea what she was going to do now, but as it was she just decided to try and figure out calmly where she was. Trying to think back about what she had done, trying to retrace her steps which was hard to do. She had been so many places it was almost hard to think, but finally she got to it.
She had stepped into what she thought was water, and ended here so only god knew what would happen. She had been here maybe a month and got a feeling of the people here, so one day she went to the bar and sat down beside the stranger she had not seen. Eden smiled at the bartender and motioned for a beer, though Eden was only eighteen they did not seem to care. She could hold her liquor to. Sipping the beer which still had one hell of a kick to it, she noticed that he had a cross bow.
Eden actually moved in a way that showed she had a gun resting on the hip. And decided to say something to him, though something about him was familiar like she had seen him before. Maybe he had one of those faces that were familiar to people though they did not know them. Shrugging the feeling off a little bit she silently sighed and began to speak to the man. "So you must be stuck here to, and by the crossbow and clothing. I would say you were fighting something, lets say decaying?" She smiled kindly to the guy whom was actually rather cute.

He was feeling a bit tipsy. Not drunk and falling off the bat stool, just good and maybe a bit giddy when he heard a voice to his left speak to him. Turning he saw this pretty thing looking up at him with pretty brunette with dancing blue eyes, not unlike his.
"Decaying?"[/color] he questioned with a teasing twinkle in his eye. "Yeah, guess you could say that. One minute I'm in the woods hunting squirrels and hoping not to get eaten by walkers and the next I'm in this fancy bar. I'm not complaining, mind you," he grinned. "A hello'va lot better than getting eaten alive, but where am I? What is this place called?"

Eden listened to what he said and could tell he was tipsy and knew that she would have to help him, she did not want him to do something he would regret once he was sober. Looking at him as she ran her fingers through her hair and sighed silently. She began to think about what to do with him, but before she knew it she heard his question and was satisfied with the relaxing. Looking at the guy she smiled a little bit and could not help but grin a little bit. Sipping her drink again she looked back at him.
"This town is called Ashfield and the bar is called Crossroads, and I think I know who you are actually. I am from Atlanta and I was graduating right when the zombies attacked and destroyed my life. And my parents, I have no clue where the hell they are. When all this happened I was actually worried that they were bitten, but I have a feeling they are dead or dead and alive. Zombies use to scare the shit out of me, now I don't know what to do with myself, there is no zombies here at least for now." She grinned.

Daryl listened to her nodding as she spoke. "You're from Atlanta? Small world, isn't it?" he laughed recognizing, despite his inebriated state, how ridiculous that sounded. "The group I was with ended up at the CDC for awhile before we were chased out by those --- things," he sneered at the repulsive thought. "We finally ended up at some guys farm in the country. It was nice except we had to keep guard 24-7 just in case a walker found it's way where we were. That and we had to do our own hunting. That's what I was doing when --- hell, I don't even know what happened. I ended up here at --- Ashfield, did you call it?" he scratched his head. "Where, exactly is Ashfield? Is is somewhere outside Atlanta?"

She smiled at him and sighed a bit "I do not know where this place is honestly, I was walking through the woods passed out for some reason and woke up here. I ended up meeting up with a guy who ended up having to cut his own hand off in Atlanta, I was hanging with him for a while since he needed some help. Though he hated to ask for it, he seemed pissed off at someone but never figured out who he was talking about. But as for where here is? I have no idea"

When she started talking about talking to a man who had cut off his hand and was pissed off at the world his heart both sank and was excited. He just knew this was his older brother Meryl. He wasn't sure if he wanted to see him or not. Meryl could be mean but he was his only brother. He decided discretion was the better part of valor.
"Ah, is there somewhere I can get some clean clothes and maybe take a shower?" he asked her. He wasn't sure what he was going to do but getting a fresh start began with a clean body, he figured.

She smiled at him hearing what he said and she nodded to him, thought she thought about what Meryl said, talking about his only family his brother who was excellent with a cross bow. She looked at Daryl for a few moments and was trying to piece together what she had known from him and sighed a little bit. She finished off her beer and thought about what could be done for this stranger and thought for a second and slowly stood up looking at him giving him a kind smile as s he placed her hands on her hips.
"You know what Meryl told me a lot about his brother, and you fit that description to a T. So I am guessing your name is Daryl Dixon?" She tilted her head to the side with a smile. "My name is Eden Wolf"

Getting off the bar stool his full stature could be seen. He was tall with an average height, broad shoulders and chest, a trim waist and strong legs. On his head was a thick crown of dirty, dark blonde hair and twinkling blue eyes and a handsome if not dirty face. On the left side of his mouth was a small mole that complimented his handsomeness. Across his chin and cheeks was a three day old growth of facial hair.
He looked at Eden and grinned slightly. She was beautiful with a seductive pouty mouth, dark hair and azure eyes.
"That's right. My name is Daryl Dixon and that one handed man you were talking to was my older brother, Meryl. I'd like to talk to him but first a bath, clean clothes and some food," he said, a slight irritation to his voice. "And it's nice to meet you, Eden Wolf."

Eden smiled at him and his brother never did tell him how cute Daryl was but she nodded knowing he wanted to get changed and motioned for him to follow she had a place just two buildings down by a clothing shop, she had suggested that he pick something to wear and showed him to her place and put some fresh towels in. "Here you go Daryl, and you can stay here as long as you like. I am the only one who lives here" She said with a smile and left him alone in the guest room with the towels out and she decided to make some lunch.
